That's not even next season. There's a good chance Mandzukic will be gone. :( (oh look, he just scored as I typed that!)

Regarding Italy, I don't mind that we got them but I would have enjoyed a little variety: England or preferably Germany.

Me too I was hoping for England cause I am sure we would have won a point ...
We played 2 good games vs Italy especially away.

Means that these games are special for Maltese and the team is fired up on England and Italy. Is it also history in question?

To me looks like Group A is the heaviest although I don't see any competitive group especially when it's clear that from somewhere 3 teams will be on the championship.

We Croats love playing against Italy, they are also our rivals.

History yes or no. The English Empire ruled over Malta from 1800 - 1964 and I can't say it was all roses...
Italy have influenced a lot our culture... But the thing is that most Maltese support either Italy or England those who support Germany like me are only a few, and maybe that is the main reason + the fact that the players will be eager to impress.

We also got good results vs Germany, Czech Rep and Greece besides England and Italy. We as a national team suffer a lot when we play Scandinavian teams because of their aerial strength. Also Serbia & the Nederland scored a number of goals against us. But I think gone are the days that we concede like that. [-o<

Yeah no Robben. 8)

Wales almost lost too. Came from behind against Andorra. 1-2 with Bale's brace.

How come we had some many good strikers from the 1990 up until 2010, and now our main guy is Tarik Elyounoussi???

Not easy for Norwegians in world football these days...

maybe we've got a chance against you, but we always struggle against Scandinavian teams... I can assertively say that our players are more technically gifted but then, height, power and stamina make all the difference...

Hi guys! Does anyone know when the venues for EURO 2016 qualifiers are announced, and if they already are, where I can find them?

I'll be travelling around Switzerland and Italy near the end of August/beginning of September and was hoping to catch Juve playing (since my family supports them), only to find out there's an international break in the days I'll be in Italy. Just my luck though, it turns out that Italy are playing a home qualifer vs Malta on 3rd September! :D I would love to go but need to figure out where in Italy I need to be on that day asap.

Try emailing the Italian Federation. The DFB is great about returning emails. I doubt the Italians are, but give it a shot:

international@figc.it

Or email Malta:
