this is frightening bloody frightening ... England should never play international football anymore.
Another confirmation how hyped their football is...
However imo another coach could at least managed to play in the QF.

Only think I feel sad is that we won't have the chance to kick them out.

I do not believe we have the quality to match Iceland at the moment but this tournament should end our conviction that we can never win. I expect better performances than we're usually used to because now there is a massive psychological shift.

You guys do know how the UEFA Nations League is supposed to work with Euro qualifying, no?

Teams from every "division" will make Euro. That means one of the worst 16 teams is guaranteed a place. Come to think of it, there is a pretty big gap between the worst and 16th worst in Europe. But it does mean that there is technically more chance than usual for a nation like Malta to qualify for a major tournament. Look at the bottom diagram in the link below:

yes , but still it is a mammoth task for us. We have improved a lot .... gone are the days when we used to concede four or six goals... but we still are lacking the points. Our record is 5 points...

I doubt we'd win it anyway. Teams like Azerbaijan are better than us (although we did draw against them in the qualifiers for this tournament). There's been an improvement in the NT in recent years but as Mack0y said, if they don't start taking it seriously we won't make it.

The Vikings are a lovely team for real, it's not the typical "park the bus" team, I don't know it's maybe because they seem to enjoy the road and they're showing that, their cool faces and style, kicking England out empatically? For example Hungary or Wales can make me close the TV but for a strange reason I really like the Iceland guys and I enjoy watching them give everything on the pitch, they don't look so one dimensional such as other low quality teams. Hard to explain it

Is it just me or I have any subordinates with me? :P
