Oops, they have 2 pts... but Portugal is showing up first, that's what's confusing me.

Germany against Italy. I am sorry but Germany can never win against them.

The Ramos penalty shouldn't have been given... and once given, it should've been repeated... the goalie ran 1 meter outside the line before Ramos shot it.

Many thought Poland would never beat Germany, but they did.

Plus, the refereeing in the 1970 semi was so scandalous that any neutral would have to say Germany won that match. The Italians fouled at will with no repercussions. So I don't accept the fact that Germany has never beaten them in a competitive match.

From your match-time posts,I see you supported Germany to win today, when a draw would've put them in a better position, so you can't go and give up now. You need to support them and have faith!

REVENGE!!!!!!

We did it! What a great performance. We won against Spain and gave them back for that outrageous robbery in 2012 that helped them to defend title.

The Spanish first 11 lost to Croatian mixed team where 2 players from HNL played in the starting 11. 4 players skipped the match.
Without Modrić, without Brozović, without Vida and without Strinić. Croatian youth such as Vrsaljko(new Atletico Madrid player), Jedvaj, Rog and Pjaca played tonight.

Perišić the best player in our national team in the last 3 and half years. He runs constantly, he scores, he assists, he defends, he plays with both feet and scores from the left side like nobody stands on that goal in front of him. :o =D> The most efficient player in Croatia, absolute no. 1 as in the last 3 & 1/2 years as I mentioned. =D> =D> =D> =D>

JANKER wrote:This is the first goal that Spain concedes in Euros since Euro 2008... if the commentator didn't lie.

First Spanish defeat since Euro 2004 and match against Portugal in the group stage. First conceded goal since the mentioned Euro 2008 against Greece. First Croatian victory against big teams since 2008 and 2-1 victory over Germany.

Second best result ever in a Euro group stage after Euro 2008.

p.s. Fúck you Kuipers! You tried again with a penalty to screw everything, but you failed. An obvious foul on Vrsaljko when Aduriz pushed him on his teammate to knock him down. [-X [-X [-X
Modrić told Srna to tell Subašić in which side to move and defend the penalty. Ramos wasn't happy after the match when he had a chit-chat with Modrić, haha.

... a dish best served cold... :P #CRO

p.s. 2 Frenchies took care this time their own garden.

He plays for his country with all his being... almost all Croatian players give their 100% for their fatherland. You have to admire such commitment even when the results aren't that pleasing.

Beating Spain with players from the Croatian league, quite an achievement...

Btw manager Cacic is unbeatable still... unbelievable.

This one after Niko Kovač was no doubt Mamić's first and final decision. Players said that they are enjoying under his guide like never before.

Under Čačić in the Euro 16', Croatia plays the best football after Euro 2008, even better than in the mentioned tournament. For the first time after the Golden Croatian generation 98' we are looking good and promising. Our central midfield finally works after 1998. Modrić and Rakitić cannot play better than they play. In every previous EC and WC they were more than poor and useless. Right now we cannot ask more of them because they are doing it perfectly. Badelj is also very good, Brozović very good, Marko Rog impressed everyone in the midfield tonight near Iniesta, Pjaca awesome in both attack and defense. Nobody ever doubt in Vrsaljko and Jedvaj.

Now we have to focus on the next stage and if we get lucky with the opponents, we could reach semi-finals.
Until then, remain focused, just hard work and step by step. We won against Spain. Hey Croatia! Now you cannot have a lack of faith or doubt in your abilities after the tonight's performance. That's what they say on Euro after every match, including this one.
