I will be watching it.
SQUAD OF GERMANY U17 [source]

I will follow the USA as well, some promising players like Josh Sargent (will be joining Werder Bremen in January) or PSG's Tim Weah (George Weah's son), George Acosta (Atlanta Utd) Jacobo Reyes (Monterrey)

Just watched Germany - Costa Rica. Germany won 2-1 but surrendered a 1:0 lead and managed to score a 2nd in the 89th minute. The team looked very out of shape in the 2nd half but had a handful of good chances throughout the game.

Both Bayern players Nitzl and Mai played the whole 90 minutes.

Mai is a CB l rate. Probaby the best CB we have in youth teams.

The coach only called up 2000's so no Batista Meier.

I did not watch Germany's 2nd match but they got trashed by Iran 4:0.

From what I read they allowed an early goal then wore out trying to catch up by the end of the first half Iran was in full control. Now Germany needs to beat Guinea in the last Group match and with African Teams at U level you never know.

4-0 vs Iran LOL....
Maybe they did it for purpose cause were afraid from the repercussions

Germany won 3-1 against Guinea. Was a very lackluster performance, however calm and clinical finishing on all the three goals. It was embarrassing at times seeing how the dwarf sized opponents were outplaying the big Germans. Anyway a win is a win and next up will be Colombia.

@Rina - I watched the match. Guinea had more possession and controlled the play for majority of the game. Their players were tackling to perfection, but Germany were more efficient with their chances and despite have less shots most of them were on target. The defending for Guinea’s goal was terrible. The finishing on all three goals was very nice. Despite an underwhelming performance they still won and that’s what matters. Colombia is gonna be a tough opponent though and the performance has to be better going into the KO rounds.

Impressive 4-0 win over Colombia today. A very good display of Counterattacking football. That Arp guy is pretty decent. Next up is likely to be Brazil at Kolkata and it will be like a hostile away game for the Germans.

Very good day for my two favorite teams: Germany and USA, very bad day for South America.

Really? Why will it be hostile?

Another question as I haven't been watching. What have the crowds been like in terms of numbers?
