Ended 2-1 for Chile, with Vidal scoring the winner :)

Some pretty boring games up until now. A lot of draws, with Argentina and Brazil completely failing to live up to their reputation in the one game they've had. It would have been idiotic by Leverkusen and Voller to agree a transfer fee for Vidal before the Copa America. He's an available player, out there on the market, with every good move, assist or goal his market value will continue increasing considerably.

Damn that was epic :D

Just like I thought, Vidal making too much mistakes as CM but then helping as LM and with his head. I hope he keeps playing well so we can finally get him.

Batista is on the frying pan right now. High heat setting. He was very lucky to draw. Only one of the ZZ tops played on Colombia's side BTW. Why on earth he brought el Kun on the last fifteen mins first game and second half on the second is beyond me. And W(here)TH was Di Maria??

Apparently the unfavorable coach likes to play the same guys he had at the U-20 Olympics which is seriously hindering his results. I heard the commentator say they were screaming 'Diego, Diego' last night at the stadium... Argentinian football is going through hell at present and Batista is not helping at all...

I haven't seen either game, but from descriptions it looks like I was right in my "a collection of excellent forwards rather than a team" assessment.

Typical argentinians, they now want Maradona back

Argentina could have lost 3-0 or even more, they're pretty much just like before the WC. Against better teams they're screwed (Germany and now a well ordered Bolivia and Colombia).

Maradona wouldn't be any better, they need to find a good coach.

Hmm... maybe I could start my career there :P

The Barcelona system makes Messi an even better player than he already is, which is a scary thing obviously as we've seen in the last couple of years. This Copa America is some more proof to that. There is a difference between a functioning team and a non-functioning team, and no matter how good you are (in Messi's case damn good), it's gonna have an impact on how you perform individually.

Uruguay against Chile tonight should be an interesting one to watch.

Santa Cruz! Equalizer against Brazil. Utter fullback failure, both Dani Alves and Santos.

Haha another Dani Alves blunder makes it 2-1! Boy, we'll have Ribery and Lahm against him. Barca doesn't loom so invincible now. :P

It's amazing what a team can do. First Messi and now Alves, both Barca stars and both have played average.
