I want the world to understand that Chelsea are not good enough to compete against top teams, they were EXTREMELY lucky last year.

I never understood why Aboutreika never made it to Europe? I think it was more by choice than circumstance. I have only seen him play half a dozen times, and he seemed like a genius on field. By IFFHS, he is the one of the greatest footballers of all time.

I never understood why Aboutreika never made it to Europe? I think it was more by choice than circumstance. I have only seen him play half a dozen times, and he seemed like a genius on field. By IFFHS, he is the one of the greatest footballers of all time.

After the 2006 and 2008 AFCONs, he had offers from abroad, but he refused to leave Al Ahly. He also refused mega-money Gulf moves as he grew older. Such decisions, among others related to the Port Said massacre, have ensured his legend status at the club. On an international stage, he never fails to impress, assisting like three goals at the last Confederations Cup and becoming the top-scorer of the CWC He also scored twice and assisted a goal or two during the Olympics. One can only hope that he makes it to the 2014 World Cup!
*He also assisted Ahly's goal vs Bayern last January.

I was. Though I don't think if Mineiro keeps playing that way they are scoring 3 on the return leg. Thanks for the hyphen there btw. :P

I was thinking if Mineiro does make it through, highly improbable as it is, the only thing Bayern should look out for would be Ronaldinho. He seems to be the only dude left with some firepower (go figure) as Josué seems to have left Wolfburg in pretty bad shape and Jô is not really conjugating much these days.

Atlético Mineiro to the Libertadores finals after winning on pens. It is a long shot but... did anyone see the match?
