So Dortmund beat Bayern and Borusse failed to predict the match in our predictions game. He could have been top of the list lol.

Stats from the German SuperCup:

Dortmund had 29% possession and 22 shots. Bayern had 71% possession but only 4 shots

But it doesn't mater !!!! He is Joseph Guardiola and even if we lost Champions and Bundesliga ... we'll still love him

Someone tell him that EVERY SINGLE MATCH it's important in this club ....

My 10 points from the match:

1. This is why I don't mind that much if Shaqiri leave us. If he wants to bitch about everything, fine, but at least play some good football.

2. I think Rode will be a better player than Shaqiri for Bayern.

3. PLEEEEASE let Alaba play LB instead of Bernat. It is such a such a shame to see a great attacking player trapped in the defense.

4. Gaudino looks good, performance went down because the whole team went down.

5. Lewa barely saw the ball. Credits to our midfield for being inexistent and Sokratis being immensely good.

6. Dante looks really shaky. He shows lack of confidence.

7. Boateng is great. Keeping the WC momentum in him.

8. Javi :(

9. BVB gegenpressing is insanely good.

10. Sammer needs to slap lots of people tonight.

Pep can set the tactics, but if the players don't have an idea what to do, his influence is gone...

So I was thinking about that Martinez pass back to Neuer which almost went in, weren't it for Neuer's sliding kick. What if he saved the shot with his hands ? Would it have been a free kick to Dortmund without any opposition since the free kick would have been on the goal line ?

my biggest concern is not the defeat (which we merited100%) but javi's bad inj:cry:
We desperatly need to get back into the market. Our players are still rusty... Prove of this Lahm's 2 fouls... I don't remember Lahm ever making 2 fouls in the same match. One last thing Alaba has to play. LB for the Love of God. Bernat is not our material.

Well, we lost 4-2 last season with a much better and fitter squad. Still, We ended up with the domestic double and defeated BVB in the games that mattered. I wouldn't read much into this game.

We can only do the same BVB did after getting trashed 4-0. Hold our heads up and pick up our game.

Exactly. After all, this is the sole purpose of pre-season. Pep has been using this system with a full squad in mind and it would be immature to drop it just because of this game. We can only judge the system once the big boys start playing.

The same applies to BVB. Two days ago they were hammered and tonight they smacked us. Everything is under trial right now.

Nope, totally wrong. He have never had an influence on them, that means when your players don't understand what their coach wants from them. Every coach can set the tactics in every club, no matter what's his name or what style does he prefer, but... You have to be aware of player's qualities and their capabilities.

Today I've thought to myself Bayern, Bayern have no chance when without key players and we're certainly losing it.

But performance... Now that was absolutely one big nothing. So what? Nothing.

What bothers me that nobody hasn't learned yet; When you don't have players available who can start in one match, it's not a big deal. But when you set tactics like you'll play as a dominant team even though you know what kind of problems you have and the opposition isn't that weak... Then it bothers me alot when I see a team who won't switch the style, formation or something else and start playing different, in Bayern's case - defensively on counter attacks.

Today I saw our good-old Bayern from van Gaal era when we would have seen everything, but nothing concrete.

All players were bad besides Neuer and that's really sad. This game should send strong message like it was one year ago after 4:2 defeat against Dortmund. The same story has happened again.

We'll see how it's gonna look like once the season starts, but I'm not optimistic about our presentation on the field.

We tried to play like we plan to play when everyone is fit. Our midfield and attack looked hopeless and din't know what to do. Lewandowski got absolutly no support. Can only get better when the starters are back.

Our midfield looked like a pure hole. Gaudino and Rode, mano... It looked so sad, they couldn't do nothing. Gaudino is a child, maybe in next 2 years but not now. We should have better tried with Alaba there and with Badstuber behind. But ok, it's easy to say here now or before the match.

bastos80 wrote:We tried to play like we plan to play when everyone is fit.

We should have played as underdogs, maybe then we would figure out something. But like I said, plan B vanished after 2012-2013 and that's something what worries the most of Bayern fans.

bastos80 wrote:Can only get better when the starters are back.

Let's hope it'll be like that. This game wasn't a big deal, but there is a conclusion which's telling us about this game. Defense is having the same problems as in last year. If we don't make a fortress this season, we definitely have no chance for CL Berlin 2015.

The real season hasn't started yet but it's right here, just a few days away, some 10 days I guess. They[in the club] should think about our strategy for this season.

Borussia lost 4:0, but it's a friendly match. No big deal to them even though they miss Reus, Hummels and Gündogan and the incomes(2 strikers) aren't adapted to the club's style, but still great test for the rest of the incomes like Ginter, etc.

I guess they will be an unpleasant wind which will blow in our back unlike the past 2 seasons.
