Come on guys...stop hating.

We have a new manager, new system, few first team players were out and our GK who orginizies our defense was not there.

We played against 2nd best team in the world [almost full squad] at their stadium.

This Dortmund team was better than Mourinhos Real Madrid, and would probably knock out Barcelone out last season if they got them in the semis. They were 3x better than Man City who were Champions of England few months prior to defeat.

We played good. Not without mistakes...but we took the game to them and made a lot of chances. Yes they used their counters and scored some goals...but 2 of those goals were lucky and mistakes from our GK and DVB.

I didnt expect us to win yesterday....i really didnt...I knew it will be hard to go there and win.

I saw some great things yesterday...

We pressed like crazy and we only need few more things to work on to make it perfect.
We are holding ball better.
And we are still trying to counter attack and change positions while doing it. Sometimes even try with long balls.

Barcelona didnt do that, they hardly used counters and didnt go for long balls like we did under Jupp and are doing it now. We also put in a lot of crosses just like we did under jupp.

So there wont be much of a change when it comes to our gameplan.

4-1-4-1 is same as 4-2-3-1 because Schweini or Martinez always pushed up when we were in possession so we ended with 4-1-4-1 or 3-5-2 because Lahm and Alaba were used as wingers while Ribery and Robben were pushing to the inside.

Some of you are making a big deal out of this whole thing.

Just wait and see...we will be the best team in the world in few months. [you can quote me on that...later on].

noone can promise us another treble because it takes a lot of luck to win all that...and it will be hard to retain CL trophy...but whatever happens I am sure we will still be on top and teams like Barcelona, RM, Man Utd, Chelsea etc...will be looking at our backs.
Starin` at the world through my rearview

I really don't think Emre Can could have done a better job than Thiago in this match tbh.

The good thing is I can lower my eyeglass prescription if he continues posting.

My point is that we did have a pure CDM, so it's no excuse. If Pep decided to play Thiago in CDM it's because he thought Thiago would do a better job there than Can. But Can is our player, under professional contract, and the fact that he didn't even play when Martinez, Gustavo and Schweinsteiger were out speaks a lot about Pep's intentions with him this season.

Still, he's our player, and we shouldn't be looking for such excuses.

It should be a two legged affair tbh. More money, there's enough time, more balanced cup, etc.

Please no, two-legged finals are so passé. Maybe it should always be in Berlin, like the DFB Pokal final.

Italian and english supercups are on neutral ground. Spanish is two-legged. I would go for the neutral.
