I watched my country play; which we lost to Egypt...i'll try to watch more games as the competition goes on. So far it's been very unpredictable and exciting.

Same here, when I have the time. It's like at the tennis grand-slams - it doesn't really get too interesting until the quarter-final, at least for an impartial and neutral viewer.

Essien got injured in the training

and will miss 6 weeks , so He Wont paly any other match in the CAN 2010

and will probably will miss some game with chelsea

Group stages tend to have more boring games due to the number and quality of the teams involved. However, their have been some exciting matches, particularly Mali vs Angola(4 -4). In any case, it should get more interesting as the quarter finals begin next week.
