Postby FCBayernNews » Sun Dec 03, 2017 11:35 am

Three points in the bag, the lead at the top of the table extended to six points – those weren’t the only positive numbers to come out of the 3-1 win over Hannover. There were other records and runs extended by Bayern Munich. fcbayern.com have trawled through the post-match stats and picked out seven striking facts from the game.

Arturo Vidal has scored in three consecutive Bundesliga games for the first time in his career.

Robert Lewandowski is the first Bayern player in history to score in each of the first seven home league games of a season. He surpasses Gerd Müller’s record of six in a row from 1972.

14

The Pole also leads the Bundesliga’s goalscoring chart for this season with 14 goals from 14 games. A remarkable haul, which also equals a personal record for Lewandowski. In 2015/16 he actually reached 14 from just 12 matches.

29

FC Bayern have extended their unbeaten record at the Allianz Arena. The 3-1 win over Hannover was the 29th Bundesliga game in a row without defeat at the Allianz Arena (23 wins, 6 draws). The Bavarians have only gone on a longer run without a loss at home between 2001 and 2003 when they went 33 unbeaten at the Olympiastadion.

29

The champions managed 29 shots on goal against Hannover, which is a new record for the Bundesliga this season (previously 28 from Leipzig vs. Freiburg).

30

FCB have won their last 30 league games against promoted teams. The last time they dropped a point against Bundesliga newcomers was on 24 August 2010 (2-0 loss at Kaiserslautern).

235

Franck Ribery now holds the outright record for Bundesliga appearances by a non-German with FC Bayern. The Frenchman made came on for his 235th game against Hannover to overtake Hasan Salihamidzic (234) at the top. With Ribery now back from a serious knee injury, he could even overtake the current sporting director for appearances in all competitions before Christmas (Salihamidzic 365, Ribery 363).
