Regeneration and punishing drills

Postby FCBayernNews » Fri Jul 07, 2017 5:45 pm

Less than 24 hours after the first summer friendly of 2017 the squad returned to the pitch late on Friday afternoon. Head coach Carlo Ancelotti supervised a group of six outfield players and two keepers in a range of passing and match situation drills, before a gruelling session of sprint interval training to round off the workout. Jérôme Boateng again took part in the session. The FCB pros had already reported to the performance centre in the morning for regeneration exercise. The sweat will continue to pour over the weekend with an open training session at 10.30 on Saturday morning and in Sunday’s benefit match against FSV Erlangen-Bruck in Herzogenaurach at 17.00 CEST.

Bernat resumes light exercise

Juan Bernat was also out on the practice ground on Friday afternoon. The Spaniard, who took a knock to the calf in training four days earlier, went for a gentle run. Franck Ribéry completed an individual programme in the performance centre.
