A new book by eight-year old transgender girl Willa Naylor, about her own experience transitioning and living with her true gender identity, was presented to ministers Helena Dalli and Evarist Bartolo this morning.

“It is a trans child’s story; it is my story,” Willa said about her book, Truly Willa.

I wrote this book to tell my story, properly, in my own words – the bad and the good times – to help people understand what it’s like to be a trans child.

I envy them. They can smoke, drink, write and publish books, have a sex. interaction, drive cars, motorcycles, ships, planes, overcome Einstein's m*c^2, possess continuum transfunctioner, etc.

They are hybrid adults while I quickly figured out how I never wanted to grow up but remain young and eat dust, put little rocks in my mouth, play in the sand or around village animals, get dirty, climb on the trees, hate girls, play football all day, play Cowboys and Indians with other children, etc. How.............. childish! #-o :D

Most probably she spoke about her experience to an adult who wrote it down into a coherent book for her. However, if you listen to her speak, she does seem mature and intelligent for her age (unless her comments are scripted of course).

I wouldn't be surprised at all. He's not that far from my age, though.

But it was such a great period of life :) despite there were things that could have changed my entire life from the beginning but thank God they didn't. Some people around me weren't as lucky as I am/was.

They taught me that the pjuccy is for boys in the early ages, just as I remember how my uncle forgot that a 5-6 yo nephew can turn on the VCR(to watch cartoons of course) and see the tape with two girls in the prison cell having some fun until the reinforcement(2 police guys) arrives and takes a good care of them. What a shock that was... But a really interesting shock. It didn't take long to forget it, but when you're 12 you recall it. :D
