I don't... Sometimes we DO have better arguments though
I don't know about the Scotland thing... But maybe they just feel more "European" than "English"?!
Also the EU will remain the biggest industrial area in the world even without Britain... So I can understand that claim...
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

@JANCKER

Your point is fair enough. Theories can take years to be proven (or otherwise) and I only wish the best for the country that has played the biggest part in my personal development as a young member of the society for the past few years. If that means I'll be proven wrong, by all means.

Maybe I've spent too much time in the scientific and engineering field - my problem with Brexit can be summarised to this: I have yet to see a convincing, logical argument as to why it could be a good thing and I've been looking very, very hard. In a two-way argument there should always convincing arguments for and against both sides, be it Messi vs Pele or Democracy vs Communism. This, as far as I have seen, is not the case with Remain vs Leave. I'm more than happy to see a good argument for Leave, after all that is the reality now and I'd rather be soothed about it rather than keep complaining.

The value of the pound sterling plummeted but then shot back up again to recent levels.

The FTSE 100 lost major ground but then bounced back and finished 2.4% higher than last Friday.

President Obama decided we wouldn't be at the back of the queue after all and asked for a trade deal.

A whole range of countries such as Canada, Germany and so on are all clammering for trade deals.

French President Hollande confirmed that the Le Touquet agreement (which keeps the border between France and Britain at Calais) would stay in place.

The President of the European Commission stated Brexit negations would be "orderly" and stressed the UK would continue to be a "close partner" of the EU.

A big bank denied reports it would shift 2,000 staff overseas because of the Brexit vote.

The CBI, vehemently anti-Brexit during the referendum campaign, stated British business was resilient and would adapt.

The EU has stated it wants the UK to exit immediately and without delay.

So there you have it, "Project Fear" and the constant scare-mongering and doomsday predictions have, so far, proved to be nothing but hot air.

Now Britain is a free, sovereign, self-governing nation state that decides its own laws.

We longer have to suffer the domination of unelected, unnaccountable EU bureaucrats

Much of what he used to say in the past was sensible, but some of those comments show he is deluded. No deal is better than the current deal? As if
