Forget about us. It's very sad, especially for me since I love Britain and its culture and would definitely have spent a few years of my life there, but we have 27 other nations to give us these opportunities. It might actually turn out better for me on a personal level if the EU survives because once all the British tranlsators are gone it'll open up more opportunities for me, especially since translators generally only translate into their native language, meaning in Europe's case it'll mostly be Maltese, Irish, and Cypriots doing English now.
The ones I feel sorry for are the British youth, who unequivocally wanted to stay in. A generation that had everything has condemned them remain confined within one state, losing so many other opportunities across Europe which the rest of us have. As if putting them through a recession as soon as they started graduating and making them pay for the senseless spending of the older generation was not enough...
