You want sadness? Try listening to Polly, it's probably the most depressing song in the world. Well, second to this:

In guten wie in schlechten Zeiten...

I couldn't help laughing at "I'm a dull boy work all day".
Besides wasn't polly written from the rapist's point of view while rape me was the victim? So I recall.
Anyway I loved those songs anyway :? Something about those songs is awesome.

My dad loves Deep Purple, so I grew up listening to it. My favorite band is Guns N' Roses, but Machine Head is, imo, one of the most complete rock albums in history. Ritchie Blackmore and Ian Gillan are beasts!

Seriously? Music wouldn't have been the same without Appetite for Destruction. That album's part of rock history.Plus Slash's playing is wicked( Lucky me i got see him at Byblos 3 weeks ago)

They Are good

Slash is An Amazing Soloist especially in Godfathers theme & November rain

Sweet Child o mine is OVERRATED

But they are nowhere as good as Led Zeppelin , Deep Purple & Black Sabbath

Not Even as good as AC/DC and Queen

ACDC's music is the same riff with the singer's voice never changing. Black Sabbath and Deep Purple are great, but, just like Metallica, they've released too many albums and many have flopped. Guns N' Roses are just behind Led Zeppelin in that they combine blues with metal, but go one step further by adding punk (Appetite) and deeper lyrics (Use Your Illusions). The original lineup only released five albums, two of which came out together (UYI I and II), one of which was a combination of two EPs (GNR Lies), and one of which was a group of covers (Spaghetti Incident).
