Don't get me started on Heroes. That's how you piss on such a great idea. What it could have been and what it became! #-o

She is also in that King Henry VIII series(found it - Tudors)? Left it after a while. Boring as hell.
She's a beaut but that thing she does with her lips most of her pictures, :(

Mentalist was good. Red John was what had me interested and the way it ended, boy was I disappointed and pissed.

Now, MaCk0y, you're spoiling it. :P
I didn't mention my comedies. Malcolm in the middle, Arrested Development and Friends, of course. Big Bang/HIMYM/Coupling/2and1/2Men aren't in the former's class.
Lastly, one of it's kind series - FIREFLY!

If you like Sci-fi definitely a must watch.

TVLand needs another proper sci-fi. Not CW sci-fi, a proper geek one please. So many cop shows these days and more every season.

I miss Community when they do Dungeons and Dragons, clay animated episodes, paintball fights, just random shit lol

There is? I'd definitely like that, Heroes could have been a lot better but I still enjoyed it.

Yeah a reboot next year, with the Japanese guy - (Hiro is the name? forgot lol) as the only confirmed actor returning. Doubt I'll care, I stopped watching halfway through season 3... Couldn't be bothered anymore

Tudor is the first TV series I saw her in, she was Anne Boleyn in that one. Tudor has a bleh storyline, but it has more appeals to women than men I guess :P I like medieval costumes too, and sometimes I stick with a TV show because of that  She's a beaut nonetheless, her eyes are mesmerizing :o

Just to take advantage of the actual name of the thread; I just watched "Captain America: The Winter Soldier". It was pretty solid, much better than the first. Good action and all that jazz, but what I appreciated the most (except for Scarlett Johansson) was the humor. It was borrowed more from "The Avengers" than "Captain America: The First Avenger" which was a really good decision. :)

All in all, 8/10. =D>

One more thing, the "villain" was really good, cool design etc. Can't wait to see their portrayal of Crossbones in a couple of years.

Finally got the chance to watch it yesterday as well. I also loved it, although I managed to predict most of the major plot points. ;) I agree that it's a lot more enjoyable than the first. The action in this one is almost continuous.

The only thing I didn't really like is that the "villain" does not appear much and the plot isn't really about him. It doesn't really warrant the movie name to be about him if you ask me.

Did you guys hear about the after-scenes credit farce in The Amazing Spider-Man 2? (no spoilers, the author hasn't even watched the movie yet)

I think it's safe to say that the makers of Game of Thrones certainly have mastered the art of "making-your-fans-crave-for-the-next-episode".

How do I get my girlfriend to like Game of Thrones? So far she's seen the first episode and says she doesn't like it...
I've seen guys praise it but never girls...
Is it more of a men-friendly TV series?

Well, Game of Thrones show an average of 5 pair of boobs per episode, lots of the women are young and hot while most of the men are old and ugly (I know it's subjective, but still), torture, gore and etc. So i think it's safe to say that it appeals to men. I don't know what you'll have to do to get her to like it. I know people who despise Breaking Bad because drugs are a part of it.
