FINALLY! I was waiting for that moment at the end of the episode. Am so, so happy.

It's going to be a long and bumpy road for Tyrion sadly, also I hope we get to see more of John Snow next week as he's one of my favourite characters.

Rarely does a show improves from a season to the next, but GoT is definitely getting better.

Has anyone seen:

Rome:

or

House of Cards:

(I would ask about Dexter, Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones, but everyone in the world has seen those)

- Both are amazing, but I think House of Cards is a little bit more unpredictable, and Kevin Spacey is my favorite actor of all time (just behind him is PHS and Tom Hanks). :)

Watched Rome. In my top 5 series. Shame they canceled it though. Read that they planned for more seasons. But I guess $100 million per season is pretty expensive even for HBO and I don't think it was that popular to generate enough revenue.

Big fan of Rome. Shame it had to be rushed in only 2 seasons. Vorenus. :D

And House of Cards is brilliant. Spacey is one of the best.

I'd suggest you watch Hannibal.

O we're doing a top 5 :-
1. Lost
2. GOT
3. Breaking Bad
4. House of Cards/Sopranos
5. Hannibal ( I have high hopes)
I'd also suggest True Detective and Orange Is The New Black. TD is brilliantly acted and OITNB is different and interesting.
I am also following Vikings.
Yet to see Wire. :)

Lost completely Lost me after season 2 (or 3).
Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad are great.
I'm planning on watching The Wire and True Detective, currently watching Spartacus and Walking Dead.
I've heard good things about Hannibal, but the concept doesn't interest me (at all), but we'll see.

If you're okay watching f*cked up shows, go for it. Sometimes the crimes are too much for me but the I'm a sucker for brilliantly framed shots so I like shows that have great cinematography and detail.

Spartacus 1st season was a bore. Though the fights and curiosity to know the story kept me in.
Walking Dead surely one of my favs. I'll probably place it at 5 or maybe 6.
Hannibal has too much potential. Let's see how it pans out.
LOST : I'll probably draw a lot of flak around here but it's exceptional. It can be slow but I've certainly enjoyed it.
Watching all seasons again nowadays. :P

Slowest thing I've ever seen, but I am impatient, gave up Prison Break after season 1, slowest tv-show I've ever seen.

EDIT: I formulated myself like a 5-year old there. Lost is the slowest thing I've ever seen, but the first season of Prison Break, was the slowest single season I've ever seen.

How weird it is that LOST almost became a reality. RIP to the Malaysian airline passengers. But yeah enjoyed it as well. If I was able to stick to Heroes all the way through, I can withstand any show hahahahaha

Can't wait for the next Doctor Who. Capaldi is such an interesting choice especially if you've watched The Thick of It hehehe

I watched Heroes!
- First season: Wow, cool concept this is pretty damn awesome.
- Second season: Still pretty solid.
- Third season: What? Characters stop making sense; some of the characters with the best powers turn into idiots, time-travel etc. It all went really bad from there.

As for Prison Break, the first season if taken alone is one of the best shows on TV. That was the best. Second season too is very good with all the chasing and Alex Mahone. 3rd was overdoing it and 4th so that they can tie up loose up ends.
I'd surely recommend watching first 2 seasons. Some of the brilliant characters to have been TV - Scofield, Mahone, T-Bag, that bastard.

How many people who watched GoT actually read the book ASOIAF?

I only read the first one (Game of Thrones) before the movie show came out. Then proceeded to read the rest of the book before season 2 was out. Not afraid of spoilers lol :coffee:

I already even read all the released extracts of book 6 (Winds of Winter) so I might be even more "ahead" in terms of Arya's activities

TV shows had been slow for me, only been able to squeeze 2 per week... and with GoT back, it's that and Elementary (so much Natalie Dormer goodness). Disappointed to find out that the guy who plays as Sherlock is a Chelski fan... Boo...

Sure, sure, but i realized that I didn't care for it enough when I had to force myself to put it on. Maybe it just isn't my thing, but I may look at both Lost and Prison Break again whenever I'm done watching my current shows.
