I started watching 'The Sopranos' about 2 weeks back. It is great and so was he in it.

R.I.P. I was shocked at the news.

Just watched World War Z, a very entertaining movie with excellent use of 3-D.

Nice to hear it's a good movie. I didn't really like the trailer to be honest.

A couple of friends of mine are extras in that movie, because some parts were filmed in Malta. :)

A lot of it was filmed in Glasgow City Centre! I even got to walk about the set!

Lucky!
I just found it strange how they were in New Jersey, then flew all the way to South Korea. They spent about half an hour in South Korea, then went all the way to Jerusalem. They spent another half hour there and then things went south, so they flew to Cardiff. There, finally they spent a decent amount of time, before going to Canada. More like Around the World in 80 Days!

Yeah, I think they had a lot of production problems.

I've got two really good movie recommendations for you guys:

1. Silver Lining Playbook: Just such a lovely and sad story about two people falling in love with each other under difficult circumstances. Such an Incredibly powerful acting performance by Jeniffer Lawrence and my favorite actor of all times Robert de Niro excels in his role, too...

2. Moneyball: It's a movie about Baseball but a very good one. Brad Pitt is the manager of a financially weak Baseball team and he tries to assemble a championship winning team by employing computer-generated analysis to acquire new players. It's a very enjoyable and authentic experience into the world of Baseball

Taking advantage of the fact that I have nothing to do and my country's in the midst of yet another revolution, in recent days I went on a movie spree. From what I can remember, I watched:
1. Aliens: My favorite of the series, it infuses horror with action brilliantly. I love the dim, red lighting and the confusing radars, as well as the soldiers that look like the came straight out of Vietnam!
2. World War Z: I think I mentioned it earlier
3. Hangover III: Not really a "Hangover" movie, but it's pretty funny in its own way. In my opinion, it ranks above 2 and below 1.
4. Alien 3: I don't understand why they made this movie, they undid the brilliant work of the previous two. As a movie on its own, it's pretty decent, but it can't compare to the Alien and Aliens, and it tarnished the story of Aliens especially
5. Alien vs Predator: Why not? My third Alien movie in a few days, it's pretty cool how the Predator and that woman team up. Much better effects than the Alien series, but the story isn't as exciting for me.
6. Airplane!: This movie had me in stitches for long periods, I loved how it mocked itself and everything else. The one liners and short skits are priceless. I highly recommend this.
7. The Big Lebowski: Image
8. Cabin Fever: I was in the mood for a cheesy horror flick, and this satisfied me. I enjoyed its disregard for the cliches in most horror films, as well as the weird nature of its characters.
9. At the same time, I've been re-watching Seinfeld and watching the X-Files, I also recommend both. Especially Seinfeld.

You seem like an alien fan Assem.

I watched Superbad yesterday. Quite a good comedy.

I hope you guys would have seen Arrested Development(TV Series, 3 seasons). It's good.
But I like Malcolm in the Middle more. Bryan Cranston! He is a genius. He took a 180 degree turn when he started Breaking Bad. Still can't believe that Heisenberg is played by the same guy who played Malcolm's father.

Currently I'm watching The Sopranos.

For anime fans, try out Kingdom. Season 2 has recently started. It's awesome.
And while you're at it, please recommend me some awesome anime. I'm more into action.
I have already seen FM Alchemist, One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, FairyTail(I'm diasppointed), D-Gray Man, Sword Art Online, DeathNote, Code Geass, Avatar, Samurai Champloo, NG Evanglion, Mirai Nikki, Elfen Lied, Claymore, Kenshin etc. I hope you get my taste. :)

As for movies, none fresh choices. I just watched The Last Samurai and Constantine again. I love'em.
I'll give Aliens a try. Seems like Assem likes them too much. :P

Yesterday I watched "Olympus Has Fallen". It's entertaining to watch, especially with that powerful cast, although there's nothing new to the standard hero-saves-the-president movies.

Today I'm going for "Dead Man Down". I heard some nice reviews on this one.

That movie is like an FPS game. Countless dead bodies dying one after another. And the most brilliant part; agents getting annihilated when getting out of the White House main entrance because of heavy mg firing, and what do they do ? They continue coming out one after the other, disregarding what happened to the one before them.

I also like the Alien franchise. First and second movies are the best and always impress me by how much the movie set is detailed and the alien costume stood the test of time.

Adept haven't you seen AD Season 4 yet ? As for action anime definitely Black Lagoon if you haven't watched that.

The entire thing was a symbolism for the war of 'nam, if you didn't know that!
