I'm back on a spaghetti western binge. Watching The Great Silence (1968) with Klaus Kinski today, although last night I watched The Cranes Are Flying, a 1957 Soviet war film. Terribly depressing but an interesting film.

Yesterday I watched Men in Black 3 .

I loved the first one when I was younger, but didn't like the second one. The third one was really good.

I also watched The Hangover 2 last night. I think it's better than the first.

^ I think exactly the opposite :P MIB3 is way worse than the previous two. Hangover 2 is nice, but doesn't crack you up the same way the 1st does.

Hangover 2 is bad :?, the finger incident just threw off whatever little shred of funny, humourous tone of the movie . I mean Hangover 1 is just pure silly, comedy and that is what that makes the first movie great (love the bathroom tiger scene) :D. Personally I feel that following the format of the first movie isn't such the "killer" of the movie (as many critics say). Haven't follow much of the development of the third film but there is only one bachelor left from the wolf pack, so the potential might probably be good :P

Just watched G.I Joe 2, now that movie just feels "wrong"... it's as if they did a "purge" of the first one and did a complete overhaul for the second one. Now I'm not really complaining about the new casts (and especially a Bruce Willis casting), but now it doesn't feel much like a G.I Joe franchise (when compared to the first one, no matter how badly made it was). Ok everyone want to see the two ninjas but the girl one (Jynx) imo doesn't add up anything to the movie

Watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes last night. I wasn't expecting much but have always liked the old movies with Heston. I was really pleasantly surprised. It was a compelling storyline with good performances by Franco and Lithgow. The CGI was great and Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings, King Kong, etc.) was great as the main ape. Only one problem with it; the movie just ended seemingly in the middle of a scene. I understand that this film is supposed to be a prequel but, they could have tied up a few of the loose ends.

^ Nah man. It's a great (vague) series.

I started watching "Vikings" tonight. First episode is fine, but didn't interest me as much as the first episode of "Game of Thrones" and "Spartacus". Will watch the second one tomorrow to decide whether to continue or stop :P

It's series not movies this time, actually I have just finished the entire Breaking Bad seasons and I'm looking forward for the finale season - excellent plot and a spectacular actor-duo.

Recommendations for movie-series? anyone I'd be glad :)

(I've watched already BrBa,GoT,Sopranos,Suits,Prisonbreak,House of Cards,Arrow)

If you liked Sopranos you'd probably like Sons of Anarchy. Really good cast and excellent writing IMO.

Some of the series I really enjoyed and recommend besides the ones you've already seen are:

House, Dexter, Spartacus, Homeland, Boss, The Americans (currently watching).

Add Rome, The Following (New series), LOST( I'd re-recommend it as scholl has done it already), The Walking Dead. :)

I don't recommend Lost. Obviously The Wire as already mentioned. Firefly and Carnivale (although be prepared for a cliffhanger for the latter unless you don't watch the last 5 minutes. Sadly it got canceled).
