Yes, it was. The movie set is still open to public, called Popeye's Village.

Coincidentally, I just came across it on a facebook page called "10 places you should visit before you die", although it includes photos of much more than 10 places.

Sympathy for Mr.Vengeance. It has a weird but at the same time funny (at least I found it funny) scene. If anyone watched the movie...

Spoiler: show
why did the director include that mentally disabled character in the scene? How the hell did he come up with the idea of including something like that in the first place ? I am talking about the scene at 0:55

Finally saw Dark Knight Rises. Great ending to the trilogy! However, Bane's voice drove me crazy. I could understand about 20% of what he said. Have to wait til DVD and watch it with subtitles. Annoying!

Also recently watched Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Great flick! Although, I had to watch it twice to fully understand everything that's going on. Gary Oldham was great(as always).

I went to see The Hobbit today.

It was fantastic. Jackson has kept very faithful to the books. The Dwarves were brilliant and Martin Freeman as Bilbo is perfect. Continuity between
It and LotR is good as well with an intro with Ian Holm as old Bilbo.

Well do continue with it. It is awesome.

I've just finished 'Downton Abbey' and I must say it is pretty good.
However 'Arrow' hasn't met my expectations yet.

Watched it today and I couldn't agree more.

The deviations from the book were sensible. For example the continuous hunt by the orks adds action and suspense. Also there were a few scenes which either were not mentioned in the book or else were given a lot more importance in the movie, which were sensible choices because it linked well with LoTR.

On the whole I think it was a very well-thought out movie, unlike for example The Two Towers which, while incredible, deviated too much in my opinion.

I've reached season 2.5 in Dexter, I'm also 1/4 into the second season of Parks and Recreation. Funny stuff.

Kind of complex, intertwined stories that are connected to each other somehow. Stories that are in the past, present, future and far future and the movie allocates an amount of time for each story but goes from one story to the other and then back again. So you get each story bit by bit. You have to focus and understand carefully what is going on.

It was something different at least.
