The Graphics Are the Best

and the events and war was great

But The Story is nothing special (Human is bad , destroying a planet , and the others fight to keep their lands)

and there were also a few mistakes

1-They were in the 2132 (or something like that) , but Jake Sully still uses A MANUAL Wheelchair (they are rare nowadays so how about 100 years later !!!)

2- When the Navi's Took over The Humans Base , The Humans were Still way more

so how did they lose

3- Jake Sully becoming a navi, it is not a mistake , but it destroyed the movie 9even my brother Who said that Avatar is the best movie ever said that this was totally wrong)

Avatar is great , and deserves to be A Top 5 movie all time

But being better than Titanic !!!!

No, The Story of titanic is totally better than Avatar

The story was crap, the characters and the world were just taken from different movies. From what people said, I expected a much better movie.

Only effects were good, the rest was average. Nothing special. Just an improved version of Pocahontas.

If anyone else wants further proof of how bad avatar is.

http://www.slashfilm.com/wp/wp-content/ ... 70bcca.jpg

I hate avatar because hollywood is buying into this myth of 3D movies. Movies are about storytelling, character development and the rest which can be displayed in 2D as well as 3D. I have yet to see a good 3D movie. But sooo many movies that had the potential to be good such as Tintin (in development by Peter Jackson and Steven Speilberg) is not buying into the gimmick of 3D. Its just a sad thing for movies and independent cinema in particular.

You guys want to see one of the best movies of 2009, i personally think its the best. Get your hands on this movie.

Its even better than how much its hyped in the trailer.

^ Couldn't agree more with that.

Avatar is just hype and publicity, just like it was Titanic. At least Cameron knows how to win money.

The movie was ahead of its time in the 80s but the 'zooming' technology is ahead of infinity.

Yesterday I watched Total Recall. The acting was not that good and Schwarzenegger English accent was funny at that time. Some of the dialogue was funny too.

First, I am very glad we have another Red Dwarf fan. About movies I would not recommend new movies from Hollywood. They act like big company that have some kind of monopoly on the market. They just want to sell product in best possible way. They do not treat movies as form of art, expression or just fun for one who watch.

As for recommendation. This is what pops on my head at the moment:
Léon
Hard Boiled(Lat sau san taam)
Per qualche dollaro in più
Le Mans
The Devil's Rejects

ps. If you like it, I can recommend 5 completely different but great movies every day.
"You are here for a good time ... Not a long time"
Colin McRae
Rally legend

I watched In the Loop and Moon from that list.

In the loop is one of the funniest movies I have seen. My favorite quote of the movie: "Y'know, I've come across a lot of psychos, but none as f*cking boring as you. You are a real boring f*ck. Sorry, sorry, I know you disapprove of swearing so I'll sort that out. You are a boring F, star, star, C*NT!" That had me roflmao.

Hahaha you have good taste. Yeah that line is epic. I wanted to get one of those shirts that was like the I want YOU america shirts for American Army but instead it has Malcoms face in it and the text is just F**Cunt. Forgot where they were selling it. I also like the scene with Jaimie (The crossest man in Scotland) when hes like "You see that fax...that is your career....wait let me just make sure.... " and he kicks the fax some more.... the other is "dont trip on your umbilical cord on the way out..."

Haha Malcolm Tucker is awsome. Another quote I liked was a serious one but very true. It was by the General talking with that woman (forgot the name). She said to him why sending so many troops. He said that to win the war you need some soldiers left alive otherwise you wouldn't have won the war.

Yeah I believe it was something like. Well at the end of a war you need to have some soldiers alive otherwise it looks like you have lost.

In The Loop is this years In Bruges but only better.
