Did also recommend episode 3... Gives a lot of back story

It's not the best one yet, for sure, and nothing could beat Episode V if they tried, but it's a very fun and enjoyable movie. Don't think too hard, enjoy the experience and you'll walk away with a positive emotion guaranteed!

I've read so much mixed reviews about Star Wars 7 that I don't dare watching the movie yet.

Well, if you adore the original movies as much as I do you WILL be at least a little disappointed... Some things you just don't mess with as a newly appointed author/director... :P
But the overall tone is great and the ending is legendary - thanks again Mr John Williams! =D> =D> =D> :-({|= =D> =D> =D>
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

Not all of it ...
Even the film Munich (latest version) was filmed here.
And the latest film by Angelina and B.Pitt... It was filmed in Gozo (the other island)

I knew something was familiar but couldn't put my finger on it. That's Valletta isn't it?

Yeah, a very long time ago when I was a young child I visited that set. It's one of my clearest memories from my early childhood. Can't remember whether it was because it was open for public after production was over or whether we somehow got to visit through someone though.

Popeye (1980) was also filmed here. The set was converted into a tourist attraction/fun park and you can still visit it. Also brings back many fond childhood memories, although I haven't been there in a long time.

Midnight express yes in Fort St.Elmo ... and Comino if I am not mistaken.
Malta was dubbed as Turkey!

I watched a danish movie. Fasandræberne. Crime, thriller detective movie.
very well balanced movie. The plot was very captivating, the acting brilliant and full of emotions.

I really enjoy foreign movies. I have watched some Korean, Swedish, German movies and the culture portrayed, the social values are so different from Hollywood movies.

Personally I love French movies especially because I can watch them without subtitles. I sometimes watch movies in Italian on TV but they are usually Hollywood movies.
