I've just watched a documentary about Brazilian football defenses:

Watched Transcendence. Average film it's the concept of the movie that's really interesting and scares the pants out of me.
AI, nano-tech, collective consciousness because the minds of the people were connected to a network.

We had a blackout for a day and unstable power for 2 recently because of another typhoon... I don't know how I can go back to offline life if ever the whole internet has to shutdown because of sentient AI.

Glad I watched Her before, wouldn't mind a Scarlett Johansson AI.

Watched The Book Thief yesterday (a bit late, but I wanted to read the book first). Very enjoyable.

Started Sherlock this morning. I'm not big on TV series but I caved in to the pressure. ;)

That made it to Malta? I'm impressed.

Was Now and Then, Here and There worth a watch?

It didn't. :) Did you watch the series? Enjoying it so far.

As for NTHT, it focuses on the atrocities of war and child soldiers. It's a depressing anime but I enjoyed watching it. It's only 13 episodes long. I also like the opening theme.

On a similar note, there is also an anime called FLAG. It's different in all the other anime in the sense that it is sort of a documentary series. Story is told through the camera of a journalist mostly. I recommend watching it if you like anime about wars. I also like the opening theme. :D

Haven't watched it, but it's very popular I believe.

I've got my hands full with plenty of animes for now but I'll try and check those two out !

Done with 2 seasons of Banshee. :)

Watched pilot episode of Sons of Anarchy. Seems like I won't go ahead.

Appleseed Alpha. I don't know if anyone has watched it yet, but to me the animation was sometimes awful. Some of the scenes looked like stop-motion, animation was not smooth/fluid.
