Congratulations on the purchase! Its a great device (one of the best in the market), although moving from android might be a little difficult. Enjoy your holidays!

Yeah it's certainly taking some getting used to. I was surprised at how different the settings are. Very happy so far though.

Its the app drawer which takes most getting used to. On the iphone, all apps are laid out on the home screen and there is no way to change that afaik. On the android, things are different, you can have widgets and stuff. You are not stuck with one theme and one launcher. As Thierry Henry said recently, android is "freedom" :D

€700 is too much money for a phone IMO. Such a waste. :P

I wouldn't have an iPhone if it didn't come as a gift... maybe not even a smartphone... but a Nokia 3310. :P

I agree and disagree at the same time. Agree, because with a cheaper phone you can do pretty much the same things (although my problem meant any Android device would be risky). Disagree, because I use my phone more than any other piece of technology and I use it for so many aspects of my life, so spending big for something I use so much is kinda ok.

Is anyone here an audiophile ? I am looking into buying headphones which have to have some bass. I prefer open back headphones though. Budget is around €200. Any suggestions ? Was looking into Beyerdynamics DT 990.

I'm an audiophile, I have myself the Audio-technica AD900X which is good enough for me. I've got a couple other headphones from Sony which are quite expensive for the price but it really depends on the music and environment you listen to or you are currently in (especially I'll definitely need noise cancelling on commuting). The best headphones I listened to was the Alessandro/Grado MS1/MS2 or MSPro for rock/instrumental music.

Mehmet Scholl once offered a mixtape CD to Oliver Kahn. Kahn replied: Do you want me to shoot myself? Keep your crap to yourself.

Anyone know a little something about standalone BR players? I need a new one, my phillips bdp7700 broke down (still plays DVDs but no BRs)...

What I want:

3D playback
Good playback quality in general
WLAN
Amazon Instant Video option
short reaction time menu+remote wise
as silent as it gets... :P

Any ideas?
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

Got a Samsung Gear VR for my Samsung Galaxy S6 and I'm in love. Really addicted to it! Trying it out whenever I get a chance.
