Like I told Tedesco when he visited, we have some very beautiful and historic buildings, but as far as ordinary architecture and houses are concerned, I think our are ugly in comparison to most of Europe.
I'm not sure about this but I believe we have lower paychecks than many countries, so that reflects on the cost of living. Transport is very cheap compared to other countries (although our buses are horrible and getting worse, but there are some good and cheap cabs and walking short distances is lovely). You can also find many decently priced places to eat.
What I'm not sure about is the average price of hotels etc.
