I'd settle for one/two day vacations if I were in your situation. Is that too expensive too? :?

I'd say that's doable. Just rent some cheap flat and drive for like 3-4 hours. Probably wouldn't cost you more than 50 euros.

It is doable.

Let's say, a weekend in Prague:
- 80€ bus from Munich there and back;
- 50€ two days Hostel;
- 50€ food, beer/pub, transport, etc;
= 180€

Now put in consideration that at least once a year I need to fly to brazil or my mother freaks out:
- 1500€ plane ticket to Brazil;

That's almost 10 weekends in Prague. Only the ticket. #-o

I rest my case.

Ah, that's why then.

But yeah like MUTU said, one can do it without spending too much money. If one cuts down on unnecessary spending when at home (such as eating out for example), it seems doable. :)

Wasn't sure where to write this but I have interesting news - I'm most probably going to Malta on 2 week vacation in August and I would be happy to meet you guys there and maybe have a beer or two. :) Maybe there will be a league game played at that time and we could watch something together.

Great news! Would definitely love to meet up though there's a good chance I'll be abroad myself in either the third or fourth week of August (dammit why do you guys always visit when I'm abroad? :lol: )

EDIT: Just fyi, the only place in Malta you can truly rely on to screen a Bundesliga game is actually the Bayern Fan Club, so prepare yourself. :P CL would be a different matter because I know a couple of good places that screen all the games at once.

I'll probably be there in the first two weeks of August. I don't know if the new Bundesliga season will already start by then. There should be the German Supercup game we could watch together though. I have no problem with visiting the Bayern Fan Club, as long as the Bayern Fan Club doesn't have a problem with me. :D I will trust you to defend me if someone tries to kill me. :mrgreen: Besides, we don't have to watch any games at all. :wink:

Of course it won't be a problem. I'm not a regular myself but as far as I know one of the barmen supports Juve. :lol: ramsej probably knows better.

First two weeks of August should be no problem from my side.

We'll figure something out, would be nice to meet up and chat about how Dortmund won the Champions League this season.

Alternatively, you might want to postpone your trip by a year so that we can watch Bayern-Dortmund in the UEFA Super Cup. ;)

You really think Bayern we'll finish third in the group stages next season?
