Physically very demanding sport, but a popular sport of the Adriatic nad Mediterranean(European) countries. :)

If nothing else, you can always say that you are in a fantastic physical condition. :)

Me too. But the 'tragedy' is that I rarely go swimming. I'm not a 'sea' child who was raised near the coast like Dalmatians. :)

All muscles work at the same time and the most important thing for a modern and a postmodern human, it's very healthy for a human's back. I used to attend swimming classes in the late 90's, it last 2-3 years, twice a week. Even though I learned to swim some 19-20 years ago, next summer I had feared of deep water once again, then my parents sent me to our local pool and with those classes I was instantly shocked and released of that fear.

It's so sad that I stopped back then. For a guy who is 193 cm tall that's a very good thing for health.

Diving is my favorite, I could've been a professional... nobody could dive that deep and hold the breath more than me around here, everybody knew me because of that.

Unfortunately I don't swim a lot (I Consider swimming as the perfect exercise) one because I've never been a perfect or an adventurous swimmer; the type who dives etc. and two because I can't really force it a lot since I had a shoulder injury and swimming is not ideal unless I swim like a lady :x:eek:
(if you know what I mean)
I've learned to swim when i was already 12.... Very late when you take the average of children like us surrounded by the sea!

A lot of Germans used to come for summer in Yugoslavia and in our "hotel" before the wars... now they're just a few and more Russians.

The map of Europe according to which sport each is country is best at:

Surprising that almost every country is better at a sport other than football.

Not so surprising since it's all relative to each other. But I'm glad my country is a clear winner in field hockey!

Heeeeeeeeeey! Where is a sport called waterpolo? Few countries dominate in that sport, too. :-k

I find it disrespectful, no wonder... Some would dominate in more than one sport. :P
