Actually this is Neelum Valley and not actually part of the disputed territory.. It is one of the most peaceful parts of Pakistan.

3 pictures from a trip to Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. It was too cloudy that day to take good pictures but a few still came out okay.

Faisal Mosque. It is one of the largest mosques in the World capacity wise

We also went trekking on the Margala hills that surround the city

Some concert photography from March.

Overload is a rock/metal band from Pakistan. They have a very industrial and progressive sound and I really loved the energy in their live performance. And I was listening to them for the first time at this concert; they certainly gained at least one more fan :D

Oh, and they also have this amazing dhol player

The concert was headlined by Ali Zafar's performance, a pop musician. I left right after he arrived on stage :D I did take a few shots though.

Replica of an underwater statue of Jesus Christ found in the Malta National Aquarium. The actual statue is found underwater in the Mediterranean Sea very close (just a couple of kilometres) to this Aquarium.

I visited the National Aquarium for the first time today and enjoyed it a lot (playing tourist in my country ;) ). I think it's slightly on the expensive side though. I've been to better places for cheaper both locally and abroad.

I really like to visit but really still had no time. It is like 18 eur ? it is expensive indeed.

Bit cheaper, 12.90 for adults. :) I heard it used to be more expensive. Thing is it's quite small (I took it really easy and took over 250 photos trying to capture good shots of some of the fish + taking at least one photo of everything and it took me around 50 minutes in total) and there isn't really any attraction that wows you. Perhaps it's unfair to compare especially considering how new the Aquarium is, but I've been to cheaper and much better ones in Europe, even though some were smaller.

That said, it's quite pleasant though. I think a cheaper price would be fairer but it's still an enjoyable experience. Probably won't visit again for a long time but it's worth going once. :)

(also, it's not a bad thing that you haven't gone yet. The fish will have gotten bigger by the time you visit)
