The Never-ending Story Game *Beware*

Postby Aequitas1987 » Fri Aug 20, 2010 10:39 pm

This is a common game in a lot of forums. I will explain the rules as simply as I can. The point of this game is to add 1-2 lines of your own and continue a story that has been started. The story does not have to be binded to what has happened or what will happen, it can go wherever you want to take it. The challenge is for the next guy to be able to adapt and take it further. Make it as hilarious as you want it to.

1) Add 1-2 lines to the story. Quote the full story and add your stuff...
2) You can also put a transition word or two after your two lines to let the other guy know where you want the story to go.
3) Only attach your lines to the previous entry...do not create your own entry. If there is a case of multiple posts at the same time. Be patient - edit your post and let one or the other post first and you adjust from there.

I will start off the story. Do join in.

Once upon a time there was a young striker called Mario Gomez from Stuttgart whose dream was to play for Bayern Munich. One day while practicing his trademark fall down and shoot maneuver he got a call from Uli Hoeness. He...

give Gomez a new job. Gomez would run along the side of the pitch during NT games to give water bottles to the players, so that they have more energy. At the same time, since he was not playing, Gomez would have time to practice his fall downs. Joachim Loew's idea proved to be very successful....

While attempting a conventional fall down maneuver to show-off in front of the training ground fan's he slipped and broke his heel. Uli Hoeness decided that the maneuver was too risky to implement throughout the squad and therefore started concentrating his great mind elsewhere...
