It strikes me as unprofessional, uninformed and rather pathetic. To forcefuly represent United as a big club on par with Real, Barcelona, Bayern... they are not even Juventus level. Cringy

By that logic we were no big club between 2002 and 2009...
They still have a huge draw and don't need to worry about money - they will overtake us soon...

We weren't, imho.

I have no doubt that ACs are common in Germany and the rest of the continent but it's true that I've very rarely been in hotels with ACs, wherever I am in Europe. I don't blame them, before temperatures started rising this much there really was no need for them.

Btw, since you mentioned windows at night: it doesn't really work here unless you live in the open or by the shore, at least not later in the summer. It's hot outside at night as well. Last night I felt the temperature lower than it has been recently though. Not sure whether it dropped a bit more or whether it was just me.

Yeah as I said we got those nights as well...

Well, my opinion about us being on par with RM and Barca should be clear by now so I'll refrain from further comments about it in here

Are you sure it's the tv and not whatever is providing the picture? As in, if it's a smart-ish TV and you plug in a USB stick with a video on it, does it get stuck too?

Not actually a frustration, just a gripe.

Let's say team A play team B in a knockout match. It's 0-0 and the 90' when a black player from team A clearly dives in the box. Whilst the referee is busy pointing at the spot, a player on the opposing side walks up to the diver and passes on a racist comment that the referee does not hear but the cameras capture. After the match, the analysis notices that the black player dived and was subsequently a victim of racism. The end result will be that the player who said the racist comment will be punished retrospectively whereas the diver will get away with his dive and his team gets to play in the next round.

Now tell me, the spectators at the stadium, are they more likely concerned with whether or not there was a personal racist insult or whether or not the penalty was deserved? I'm assuming the latter because the result of the match is more important than some personal insult, however FIFA are so hellbent on stamping out racism that they have twisted their priorities to the extent that cheating is not punished whereas racism is.

Good thing for VAR, but it's too little too late.

FIFA is perfectly right to counter racism from crowds etc. but when it comes to player insults I think it's a bit ridiculous. Are non-racist insults punished? I don't think so.

They rarely are. I am only aware of Materazzi being retrospectively punished for offending Zidane during the World Cup final.
