Has the OTing gone non-soccer related?
Not trying to stop you from you theological discussion (nor will I reveal my opinion ) - but could you please stick to another thread and refrain from interrupting the beautiful pictures and recipes with lengthy discussions?
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

Don't start the BS about free will because it's not true.

Let's take an example. Imagine God had first created men with wings and people could fly around. But then he didn't want to allow them to fly anymore. So he took off their wings and now they're limited.

Humans are limited by the capabilities of their own body. That's not free will. I can't fly around. I can't run 2,000km/h. I can't shout at 5 million decibels. The only way that God had to stop me from doing it is by limiting my body, and my body is limited, so I don't have complete free will.

This reminded me of the free will part of this stand-up sketch. The second half is not even related at all. Sorry for the off-topic but hopefully you find it amusing.

So I left you guys on a 13-hour flight yesterday morning and what happened to this thread?

Although in all seriousness I don't torture myself through fasting because I thoroughly, for lack of better word, enjoy doing it "for God". I believe when you practice religion the right way it strengthens you spiritually and there's a certain level of emotional achievement to it. Kind of like meditation. Whether God exists or not, my belief only helps me positively because it affects my thinking in certain ways that I have benefited from. For non-believers who think this is inconceivable, it can simply be seen as a particular psychological method of coping to things or having control over your mind and body. However religion should strictly be a relationship between you and God and you should never involve other people. That's just my two cents.

Yeah, beef is perfectly fine red like that. In fact I prefer my steaks rare-medium rare.

Beef fillet braised in Indonesian sweet soy broth and turmeric and chilli roasted oyster mushrooms, served with white wine parsnip purée.

Think this is the best Indonesian-European fusion dish I've made so far

Never heard about a na wine.
I am confused by the fact that wine obtained by other friuts is ok but from grapes is not.

I don't know about wine made from other fruits, but the one I used was made with grapes. As long as it's non-alcoholic it's fine, the fruit doesn't really matter.
