You can't go wrong with a Paella or, even better, an Arroz a la Marinera

If we play Real in the final I'm definitively getting a Paella for the final :D

Edit: sorry,I **** up. I thought the Arroz a la Marinera was a Spanish dish. It seems it is actually a Latin-American variation on the Paella. So try the Paella de Mariscos or Paella Marinera

Somewhat hoping we draw City so I get to cook some English. I'd win that one hands down

Oh... Weird since it is a Spanish dish, but OK xD

You can always buy Jamón Serrano and eat it with Pa amb Tomaca and call it cooking :D

I know it is but apparently, the Portuguese make it too?! :D

As for the Serrano: way ahead of you, was actually thinking about something with it...

Yeah, Jamón Serrano is one of the best things ever. I would gladly eat nothing but bread filled with it for a whole year xD

Joking aside, they're really not that bad over here. No amazing flavours, sure, but when it's done right you can have the heartiest comfort food. The reputations of English food and English football should really be switched around.

I've had some great pub food in England. It's not an entirely accurate reputation.

Well, I came across Great Britain a few times in my school and professional career (which are kind of the same thing, because... you know... ;) ) and I think it's better than it's reputation... But still wAY below German cuisine IMHO and German also has a bad reputation... Also, oftentimes it's just a matter of taste, and tastes are different...

Since this is still a food thread... :P :D

For me it has always been Prosciutto de Parma > Serrano > rest (I actually like air-dried prosciutto better than smoked - boy what a German I am... :P #-o  )
But I've hear Jamon Ibérico is even better - would you agree, should I spend the extra money (I'm not cheap, I just tend to buy a whole leg usually :P And that's about two and a half times as much...)?

I don't know nearly enough to tell you. I just love all that family of curated hams
