Paulaner Hell lager
Paulaner Salvador
Weihenstephaner Hefe
Franziskaner Kristallklar
Paulaner Oktoberfest
Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest

Its sad that for me living in Australia- these German beers are hard to come by and I've never tried Augustinerbrau before. Australian beer tastes much bitter but not as weak as the American beers.

I really like to taste the Salvador...
Never found it in Malta.
What do yo think about Fosters?
I tasted it in London ... That is from Aus right?

Yes, surprisingly hardly anyone in Australia drinks fosters as the new formula is watered down just like the American beers but not as heavily watered as theirs. We know fosters not because of their beer- but them as the largest Australian beer company known for making other Australian beers that have different brands which the majority of people enjoy.

Tonight I am attending a beer tasting ... There will be a representative (Michaele Lange) from Privatbrauerei ERDINGER Weißbräu and will be presenting a range of ERDINGER beers including some specials not available in Malta.
They will also be serving bratwurst sausages...
Hope it will be a good and interesting evening... (I am missing the Champs league matches for it...) for the occasion I shall be wearing this:

Wow have fun mate sounds good. Maybe you should suggest Herr Lange sets up a regular delivery to your Bayern fan club

And I doubt you'll miss much in the CL if you want to see the German clubs win, haven't decided if I'll bother watching them yet

@ the club we used to stock Paulaner however it didn't last long cause there wasn't a big demand for it  ( I order it to enjoy it at home) :)

P.S I don't think that he agrees since Erdinger are 1860s sponsors.

I didn't know that  I might have to boycott Erdinger now! Paulaner is difficult to find here, which is strange because most supermarkets and alcohol stores sell Erdinger, Weihenstephan and Franziskaner, but you hardly ever see Paulaner. On the rare occasions I do find it I buy nearly the whole stock, with their Bayern connections. The power of marketing through football I guess

Never heard about Weihenstephan (stephen's order?)
And when I toured the Arena I've learned that when both Muenchen clubs are playing at the AA the guys employed in there are assured of a very very busy day.
They have to clear everything related to Paulaner and replace it by that of Erdinger... So you can imagine what that involves... All the bars, fridges, merchandise, posters, tables, chairs... to cut the long story short : a hell of a day...

Yes it always amazes me how different the stadium looks just on TV when 1860 are playing, just with a few changes to the advertising boards (and a load of visible grey seats of course :P ) You can well imagine the work that goes into it

If I am not mistaken there is a restaurant / pub in the marienplatz with the name of this beer... right?

There is a huge, wonderful Biergarten near the Hauptbahnhof that is called the Augustiner Keller... I went there often with work colleagues :) and HarryMuc is right... Augustiner is a great beer! Münchners really love it too... you could tell when the empty bottles were littered throughout my construction site after lunch ;)

Jeez back to this post... I used to pass in front of this Augustiner Keller all the time... but never tried crossing the road  #-o

Beer is simply great beverage. =D> It's also good for kidneys - as a filter which cleans them. :)

The answer is simple as... beer!

Have you tried Pan pivo? Now that's a beer you don't want to drink. :)
