Me and the Cups my local team Birkirkara FC won this season. On the left it is the Super Cup and the other one is the F.A Trophy.
It is an old Trophy awarded to Malta by the English FA early in the 20th Century.
It was a gift from the British by The Football Association in 1933. This followed a match between England and Italy, played in Rome in May 1933, to where a number of pro-British Maltese supporters travelled to support the English side. In recognition, the Football Association donated a silver trophy to be played on the model of the F.A. Cup
It is almost venerated here because of its historical past. We won it for the 5th time ... We lost like 5/6 more finals..
