They'll come up with a rule for that once someone gets close. That's going to be in approximately 9 years.

Re: Champions league: I believe the only official badge you get from UEFA is the so called "Badge of Honor".

The picture is too large to post here, and if I scaled it down you wouldn't see the badge anymore. Click the link and look at Boateng's sleeve. The "4" stands for the amount of times we won it obviously.

That could get ridiculous 100 years from now, Bayern will have a shirt full of stars.

Maybe they'll color them by then: 'One of my black stars eats your 20 golden ones for breakfast...'

I think the stars on the shirts looks a bit silly, especially when there isn't a common rule in place for them.

Like in Scotland, Rangers have five, for the 54 top league Championships won (one star for ten championship wins). Celtic have one for their European Cup win and Aberdeen have two for their ECWC and European Super Cup wins.

I think the "badge of honour" idea for European Cup winners should be the only one used, as it's exclusive and truly the pinnacle of European Football.

The stars sort of loose their meaning after a while.

I thought one of those stars for Aberdeen but the i didnt realise that the other one was for the Super Cup win.

I do agree though with there being no general rule on the matter that encompasses all leagues it does seem a bit irrelevant.

You get a UCL badge of honour when you have won it 5 times or have won it 3 times in a row.
