We have a shih tzu for a year now. I didn't like dogs before we were given one but now I can understand why people love their dogs so much. It's nice to be welcomed home so enthusiastically.

My fiance and I both work and there aren't too many animals that make good pets, which you could keep at home during the day, won't destroy furniture and are low maintenance.
