Resolution is too low, but is that a Hermann's tortoise?

Changed the resolution...

I have no idea, you probably know better.

I wouldn't say so... but that one was too little, maybe he'll get the same color pattern by growing? There are probably dozens around my property.

Dogs are the worst. Cats are the best.

I prefer dogs (they are way more fun) but if I had to get a pet I'd prefer a cat as dogs sometimes make me uncomfortable.

I like dogs, but there's something about a cat flopping into your arms when you are trying to work that is just special. Until you are really trying to work and they decide the keyboard is actually their resting place.

Dogs are too high maintenance, requiere too much attention. Cats take care of themselves most of the time, they are more independent hahaha thats what i like about them.

Scientists have found evidence to support what many dog owners have long believed: man's best friend really does understand some of what we're saying.

Researchers in Hungary scanned the brains of dogs as they were listening to their trainer speaking to determine which parts of the brain they were using.

They found that dogs processed words with the left hemisphere, while intonation was processed with the right hemisphere — just like humans.

What's more, the dogs only registered that they were being praised if the words and intonation were positive; meaningless words spoken in an encouraging voice, or meaningful words in a neutral tone, didn't have the same effect.

"Dog brains care about both what we say and how we say it," said lead researcher Attila Andics, a neuroscientist at Eotvos Lorand University in Budapest. "Praise can work as a reward only if both word meaning and intonation match." [source]

Anecdotal evidence shows that many animals can be taught words. However, I'd say there language is limited to the here and now, which is why they only understand words such as "sit" or praise and disapproval, as the article says.
