I'm just chilling with the good old GTA trilogy at the moment.

How are you finding Horizon #12? Challenging and lots of hours of gameplay or will it be a short-lived experience?

I think I recall #12 posting something like "if you have a PS4, buy Horizon. If you don't have a PS4, buy one and buy Horizon"

So yeah, I'd be interested to hear what you say about it too.

Haha yeah, and he knows I've been tracking its price for months. I'm wondering more about its difficulty and length. There's no doubt I'll be getting it anyway.

(I'll avoid spoilers here cause I'm happy I was able to ignore everything related until I started it myself...)

Well, I'm playing in normal... They recently added a New Game Plus plus trophies - and I think it's partly challenging already... 3 higher difficulties available, you'll not be disappointed
It's a little easier now since I'm pretty well equipped cause I got like 90% of the side quests out of the way first before advancing in the story... Which is why I asked Dumble - it's pretty immersive and catching IMHO - had goosebumps today

About 70hrs in so it'll keep you busy

I platinum'd Horizon Zero Dawn yesterday... As always there's a few story inconsistencies and a few other flaws (one being that it could be a more "classic" RPG) - but still an absolute recommendation from my side... It's the kind of game where you can anticipate large parts of the story if you're not completely ignorant, stupid () or rushing, but that's also got two or three twists you didn't quite reckon with... And it leaves you wondering about a few things, enough untied ends (including an obligatory cliffhanger ) to make you long for a sequel (which I'm pretty sure they're planning or even working on already...)
It will take about 100hrs of playtime if you go for all secrets and collectibles (which is not needed for the platinum) and read all the information that's adding to the main storyline (I did), but you can most likely do it quicker if you don't do that, explore less and don't wander off as much as I did
Also I recommend doing as many side quests as possible first and then advance in the main story, although it's probably more challenging if you do it the other way around...

FFX is one of my favourite in the series. I imagine it looks beautiful in HD. X2 makes no sense at all (basically the most important character of FFX becomes a travelling celebrity/singer with a couple of girlfriends ) and is a bit childish but some fun never hurts anyone. I only played it once so don't remember it too well but I think it's mostly sidequest-based. Think of it as a bonus because FFX alone would be worth it for its cheap price. I would get this one before the recently re-released FFXII any day. P.S. I actually picked up FF7 a few days ago since it was really cheap even though it's exactly the same as the old one. I haven't played it yet but damn that theme that comes with it is nostalgic. I may never change it again.

The unfriendly buttons I mentioned regarding Crash are still there and probably won't be changed. As long as you keep Autosave on you don't have much to worry about. Preferably don't pause during levels or use the PS button to do so instead. It's apparently harder than the original games but to be honest I found it the other way round. I platinum'd games 2 and 3 but still missing most of the time trials for the first one and don't plan on attempting them soon. The first one is easily the hardest since its levels were never intended for speed runs. To make it worse it's the only one in which they didn't add a sprint option after you finish the game.

Speaking of the first game a few days ago they released a level which was deleted from the original game because it was too hard. It's free DLC until the end of August or so. Not sure if you can pick it up without having the game but do so if you're not buying it now.

I'd say well worth it for that price.

There's a UK based shop (base.com?) offering it for half off I think (if you talk about the standalone dlc...)

Hey guys have you played the Kingdom Hearts bundles for PS4 (HD 1.5, 2.5, 2.8 )?

I'm planning to get a PS4 before the end of the year and I'm wondering if these games are worth it. I'm a big fan of the series and I've played nearly all the main games. I want to play them again ahead of KH3, but I'm wondering if I should spend the money or stick to my PS1 and PS2 emulators. They'll be about £65 in total and I'm planning to spend that same amount for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon as well.
