Been playing SR IV. Really good game. Hilarious as well, parodies everything and their mum from Modern Warfare games to Leave it to the Beaver. It kind of needs prerequisite knowledge of what it parodies, which fortunately I have for the most part. Gameplay is pretty fun. Looks decent, probably worse than SR3 I'd have to say graphically. Aesthetically not much different but I do like the whole Alien things, which I prefer. I'm not far into the game but it's already better than SR3. Liking it so far.

Never had the offside overlapping thing what you decribe here.. But controversial goals? A couple and Always in important matches.. So if it works it's a nice little addition.

So far i haven't read any career mode things etc. But next week is Gamescom and i'll probably be there and check some games, including FIFA, out.

I loved SR4 too, but not as much as SR3 though. DLC's are quite good too especially..How the Saints Save Christmas DLC.

SR3 was a disgrace to the SR series. I've watched an LP of SR and have played the rest. 4 is easily the best

Just made a SWEET deal... Handed in my FIFA 14 because i pre ordered Madden NFL 15 and that came out today.. So i thought maybe its worth like 10 or 15 euro's.. Nope.. 40.. So i got Madden NFL 15 for 2,15 ( because i still had coupons from earlier games i handed it ) and because i handed in FIFA 14 in a trade in action, i get FIFA 15 for only 19 euro.. So together they would be 140 euro's and i got em for 21,15 :D

At least the zombie trend has died down a bit.

Tomb Raider
The Division
Metal Gear
Fry Cry (I hope this will be as awesome as the 3rd. Spent hours killing with the recurve bow. )
probably Assasin's Creed by virtue that I've played most of them. Didn't finish the latest one though. Don't like the new character.
The Order looks interesting. One of the reasons I love playing AC with Ezio and Altair was the historical setting.

The ones I'm most excited about are definitely Tomb Raider and MGS, and I agree with runaway that The Order looks quite interesting. Mortal Kombat is one of the titles I traditionally buy but I feel that no MK game has come close to Deception ten years ago, so I might pass this time.

Miscellaneous Video Games Thread

Postby Tedesco » Thu Sep 11, 2014 11:48 am

It seems I am the only one here that prefers strategy/management games. None of the listed above really interests me. :/

Edit: I also have been playing a lot of Euro Truck Simulator 2 xD. I guess the whole Germans love simulators is getting into me lol
