According to the German Ministry of the Interior, 92% of the "antifas" still live with mom

Erm... It is about criminals... so it's neither "antifas" (a large number of those actually are peaceful), nor 92% of them... ;)

Also, I think every sane human should consider himself to be "Antifa", but those with sympathies for fascism, go ahead... ;)

Abou the statistics: actually a problem, actually one of the few points I agree with AfD... Thing is: if it's them arguing for it, it just makes it seem fake and to cover up right-wing shit...

Also, not that I mean to defend anyone or take sides, but I find it weird how lighting up a refugee shelter for reasons of hatred is not considered a racist or right wing crime...

What do you mean "happened"?

Just a regular visit from what I can see...

That Turkey visit was much more "interesting"...

From what I got it was kind of a regrouping, you know, how is Europe gonna react to Trump, etc., what's the mutual strategy, let's stick together, that kind of thing...

Germany has repatriated much more gold than expected in 2016, which raises questions about the euro's future ...

I've been to Nuremberg. Beautiful.

Like the photos of the others on Google. I should have said excluding Berlin too :P

Würzburg

You should have Regensburg on your list as well...

Köln? Not so much IMHO... Also, Berlin is a hellhole... Depends what you like though...
I tend to like the smaller ones with Fachwerk houses and beautiful churches...

German members...

Postby FCBayernMunchen » Sat Feb 11, 2017 12:24 pm

What I mostly look for in an urban place:
- Beautiful to just walk around without necessarily paying to go inside anywhere, so architecture, huge parks or beautiful gardens, monuments etc.
- Related, preferably bridges and bodies of water such as rivers since we don't really have any here. We have lots of sea of course, but there is something appealing to me about a body of water where you can easily see the other side.
- Culture (and history). Museums are great and I visit a lot of them, but not only. Historical places or buildings (anything from the Marienplatz to palaces to the Anne Frank House to something like Auschwitz), anything related to literary figures, art (usually open air exhibitions but I've visited actual galleries, though they're not my favourite attraction), or even just a show (whether traditional to that place or just something international). I also make it a point to visit the cathedral whenever possible, love those.
- if I have time, a football stadium (good teams only) and/or an amusement park.

I was referring more to the first two points in my question though

Edit: close by forests and mountains are beautiful too, although that doesn't usually factor in when I choose to visit a city. I keep those for the travelling around from place to place kind of holidays (which admittedly I've hardly ever done)

I like historical places and the old cities...and small towns.
Those mentioned by #12 are two beautiful towns (which however I ve never been too)-
Wurzburg is reminding me of something which I cannot recall for what...

I only visited two regions while in Germany... in Bavaria I liked Oberamergau and the those regions were the Ludvig's castles are...

Then I went to the Baden Wutternberg area...

Never been to the others I really wished I had visited Nuremburg but I had no time...
Berlin ... all family and friends who visited all said positive things about it
