Hey guys, there's a petition going on for Bayern to make them use more players from their own youth. If you wanna support it, it's on spotwell.com

I think everyone here would like it if we were fully youth product without a drop in quality. The problem is that our youths suck at the moment. What are we going to do, sell Lewandowski and promote Weihrauch as a replacement?

At least we brought Hummels back. ;)

As a side note at the risk of going off-topic in the General Chat thread (  ), and with no disrespect meant to our new user (welcome mate! :) ), shouldn't there be restrictions in usernames? Not that there is anything wrong with it, but there is already a user called "sterndessudens", which can lead to confusion when the only difference is the use of spaces.

Does Angela Merkel know how to speak English? I was watching Euronews some time ago. There was this guy being interviewed. He is some kind of head of an EU institution. I didn't start watching from the beginning. The interviewer was asking the questions in French and he was replying in French. I seriously thought he was French with the accent and all. Then one of the questions was, "Will we see you as Chancellor of Germany in the future?" I was really surprised. Can't remember his name.

As far as I know, the only German head of an EU institution is Martin Schulz, the president of the EU Parliament. According to his wikipedia page:

Besides German, Martin Schulz speaks English, French, Spanish, Italian and Dutch.[40][41]

From what I know of him, I wouldn't want to see him as Chancellor. :P

Dunno about Merkel but as far as I know the Germans in general have a very good grasp of English. EDIT: Wikipedia says her mother is/was a teacher of English and Latin.

The French are really bad in English... you're lucky if you meet someone who speaks English. :P

Yes it was Martin Schulz. Thanks. I have never heard Merkel speak in English that's why I was asking.

God forbids... and I don't think that he actually wants to; he prefers the EU gravy train ...
With Merkel is already by the edge of the cliff... with him Germany will no longer be the same

Especially if you are Hollande. :D. It's good to be bad. :P

Schulz is bad and he can demonstrate it in 5 languages. :D
