Catalan flag always stands and waves at Camp Nou with the other 2-3 flags and Uefa punished them because they were waving during the match on the public stands while the same flag remains and will remain somewhere on the mast.

I immediately knew why they punished them. Uefa doesn't want to see some political messages via fans' activism.

That's a policy stuff and details; Spain, Spanish constitution, Catalonia as a part of the latter, etc. etc.

UEFA are greedy and the sky is blue.

City fans should boo if they feel slighted. If they complain because they are fined, obviously they have don't feel strongly enough that UEFA rigs the competition against them. I'm not going to cry over City especially since they have enough oil money to break the rules and pay fines year after year. Every year Barcelona fans wave Catalonia flags even though they get fined. I haven't seen one Barca fan complain that their club feels strongly enough that they take the fine to show their independence.

Celtic cross I don't know. Kinda BS but one competition I seem to remember making people strip because their shirts were advertising Bavaria against the competition sponsored beer. If a club doesn't like the rules the fans can accept the penalty to show how firm they believe or they can stay at home. No one forced any club to participate in Champions League.

It's not that they give out fines for stupid reasons that irritates me most, but rather the fact that the club suffers the consequences of stupid fans. Unfortunately, there aren't many better ways to deal with this.

I mean, say there is a group of racist fans who want to deliver a message... do you think they're going to care that a club with millions upon millions is going to get fined a few thousands?

So many random chats and no one wrote about this guy retiring after this season.

An idol, a legend. I watched NBA some time before his rookie season, but then this guy appears and blows them all away. So many sleepless nights, so many mornings just checking how much points he got and if Lakers won. Collecting Kobe sneakers, just shouting his name each and every time my shot would go in on a basketball training or a street game. Such a passion of the game, returning from injuries even in his late 30's. Seeing the news I realised just how much older I got.
The only guy who can stand next to Jordan.

Basketball will never be the same for me.

Great player and I love him. But imo as an LA fan, it is time for him and Lakers to part ways. Still, one of the most amazing players in the history of the game. The will he had to be the best, the dedication to put in hours of practice. Thank God he made the right choice and chose basketball over soccer.

NATO foreign ministers have agreed to invite Montenegro to join the military alliance. The move is likely to lead to further deterioration in NATO’s relations with Russia, which sees the alliance’s expansion eastward as a threat to its national security.

Amid reports that a war between Russia and NATO is imminent, Moscow is already building plans as to who will be its allies in a nuclear confrontation against the Alliance. And yes, Russia has so far picked nuclear-powered allies [source]
