No, everyone stopped producing plasma screens because they offer no advantages over LED, only disadvantages. At best, you'll find old stock.

LG and Samsung still produce Plasma TVs. They are not popular because of uninformed consumers. They are better in some aspects over LCD but also have some disadvantages.

LED > LCD > Plasma.

LED is LCD with LED back lighting instead of using CCFL (fluorescent tubes). More energy efficient but same display technology. Marketing.

FCBayernMunchen wrote:Very good infographic! I especially liked the map at the top with the locations. As far as the details are concerned I think it mentions all the important stuff. I like the colour scheme too. It resembles a football pitch. :)

Just wondering, does this include stadiums that are no longer in use (assuming there are any big enough to be on the list)?

P.S. I was surprised to see that the biggest stadium is in North Korea. Didn't know that.

Thanks. I was also quite surprised that the biggest stadium is in North Korea.

The graphic is based on Wikipedia - and as far as I know their list only contains active stadiums.

Speaking of North Korea, did any national football team ever play a friendly match in North Korea ?

I don't know if there were any friendlies (I think so), but certainly other countries have played there. I remember in the qualifiers for the 2010 WC they had to move some home games to South Korea, which implies they usually play in the North.

Do they have clubs and a league though?

Yes but LED is brighter so the colour contrast is improved.
