Three weapons were recovered from the school: a semi-automatic .223 Bushmaster found in a car in the school parking lot, and a Glock and a Sig Sauer found with Lanza's body, a law enforcement official familiar with the investigation said. Who needs telephone boxes when almost everyone has mobile phones? Such a shame if they go to waste. However a solution may have been found.
A group of Maltese young people are trying to bring back to life these traditional red telephone boxes by transforming it into a small library where book lovers can exchange books “in a mutual consensus that the wealth which lies on the shelves is to be taken care of as if it were one’s own”. They call it, the ‘Book Box’.
At the moment their main aim is to promote this innovative and interesting initiative in different localities around Malta. They are trying really hard to get the go-ahead by the authorities and help them with the needed raw materials.
Now the only thing left is for some bluish Whovian Police Box to come hovering around our houses! Wishful thinking I guess...
