Well, only the votes of those who vote count don't they? So if they get enough votes from that 1% they'll win the election.

I am not sure what would happen if NO ONE votes. I assume they would fake the results like Element said, but as far as I know in that case the government remains the same and another election is called. So really, the only way to get rid of a dictatorship is by revolution

Dude , there is no way that no one votes

Because the Current President and the only candidate will 100% vote for himself , and maybe his wife and Sons

Which means that 1 Vote = 100%

Of course it's impossible, I just wanted to point out what would happen if that 99% mentioned by MaCk0y increased to 100%. In other words, it's impossible to overthrow a dictator by a legal election. They can do whatever they want

I didn't phrase that very well...but don't get me wrong, I care if innocent civilians are harmed but at the end of the day I have no power to do anything about it. I'm well aware of how many civilians died in the 2 wars and I am upset by it but like I said, I can't do something about it besides hope things get better.

When you have no say in a matter its hard for you to care or want to do something about it.

I suppose people who work in the stores need at least half an hour to go to their work, so, you have to subtract at least 1 hour... :)

But still, people aren't convinced he's sincere and are still protesting against him.
