Yeah, that defensive line is really lacking in aggression and bravery (though fairly creative). I can see you having a buttload of issues with strong target man type strikers.

Simao is probably the best CDM you could get for QPR, at least initially. Looking really solid. Denilson, though... can't see how he's been useful at all :?

Also, POST AS ONE POST GODDAMMIT.

LW: Redmond. Also really good, tho he looks shit :P

I had Zaha there before, but Newcastle bidded 20 mil, and i got Zaha for 5, so accepted and bought Redmond for 3. Happy still

Last player. Traore, got him for free. And he is just solid. Big, pretty fast and STRONG.

Thanks for the answers quaazi. And sorry, just thought it would be easier that way i did.

I think Denilson performed well.

Traore looks really good, for once a target man with good aggression and long shot (to fit that "support" mode). Redmond... I would say he's shit, but if you have a player like Traore, a classic winger like Redmond might be a pretty good idea.

However, I have to say that a fragile yet creative back four doesn't seem to go together that well with a target man and classic wingers. If you're getting the results, it's all good, but personally I'd pick one or the other - a possession based team with good passers at the back, or a classic direct hoofball kind of team with scary motherf*ckers at the back to lob the ball to the scary motherf*cker up front.

Traore has amazing jumping and pace for 2 meters tall, love that guy.
Jesus saves, but Kahn does it better ;)

Well, right now you have two inside forwards, meaning they will make direct runs at goal or cutting inside even, instead of crossing the ball, and two playmakers in midfield, meaning they will look to stay behind and make through balls instead of making runs into the box. Like I said, there's no synergy - inside forwards and playmakers are good if you have a false nine type of lone forward who will pass with the playmakers and create space for the inside forwards. With a target man, though, you'll be wanting classic wingers on the flanks, a strike partner more agile than him to pick off flick-ons and passes when the target man holds the ball up, and at least one box-to-box midfielder (think Ballack or Lampard) to make driving, overlapping runs from deep as your target man holds up play (a deep-lying playmaker can supplement him, but if you want defensive stability, a defensive midfielder is the better option. NOTE: A ball winning midfielder is not actually a defensive player despite sounding as such. He'll win the ball very high up and is an important part of a team looking to counter quick and fast, instead of sitting back in defense. Often a ball-winning midfielder will end up as a liability if you field him next to an offensive minded player because he will seek to close down very high and creates space behind him).

But again, if you manage to make things work your way, even better!

Happy with Walcott, he plays well

Sad to see Lacina leave, but also 20 mil euro profit on him is decent

Anyone else having problems with the woodwork in FM2013? I'm playing in a low league (Blue Square Bet South with Bath City) and my players are constantly hitting the post/crossbar. I'm talking about 3-8 times a match, not kidding. It's getting really ridiculous.

The lowest league you can play in. Sixth tier in England. Can someone please answer me with regards to the woodwork question?
