The match engine is probably not even fixed yet, they just polished it a bit and they didn't do too well at even that.
No ME fix, no FM14.
It can wait, and so can I for FM15.

So remember when I said Agüero wouldn't join me (like, in the last post)?

Yeah. Didn't last long.

It's funny how Badstuber is so overrated and Boateng so underrated. Badstuber at the same ability levels of Lahm and Schweini (and better than Suarez, Aguero and Falcao) while Boateng is the same level as Rafinha and Kirchhoff? lol.

I did give Holger a PA boost that he developed into. Boateng has barely increased his attributes, though - the low determination and work rate stats at work. FM is odd that way.

I get bored when managing bayern. I am managing nurnberg, and am second after 8 matches on goal diff above schalke. Have the chance to go clear 2nd when I play them soon, though. I also made only 2 backup signings, to replace injured players, but they got injured as well #-o #-o

How come your player roles aren't as specialized? You have three attacking midfielders. No advanced playmakers or Trequartistas?

That screenie is just to show the roster. Tactically I use a complete forward up front (Falcao, Suarez as his possible backup), a trequartista in the middle (Agüero) and two attacking midfielders providing movement around him (Müller and Suarez/Götze), then a box to box midfielder/advanded playmaker or a deep-lying playmaker and ball-winning midfielder duo behind them.

Or a 4-1-2-1-2 which averages over 70% possession and 85% passing accuracy per game, that has Schweini as the lone defensive midfielder too. :P

Inspired by the real world, I'm now trying to sign Özil. If I could bring him in (and offload Falcao), I'd have an absolutely amazing creative force up front.

No, I don't know the one about too many cooks. I'd play 6 trequartistas up front if I could.

Looks like you are going the 'real madrid' route with Bayern, how do you find the money for all these signings?

I abandoned my Nurnberg save in favour of a 2-player game with my friend in thhe League two. He went on a spending spree, while I signed betternplayers than him for free.

So more boasting about big signings - remember how Martinez' 40 million was "madness"? Well how about 130 euros for Sven Bender. :P

The son of a bitch didnt make it any easier - kept tapping him up for one and a half years straight, he kept saying how he loves me and how a move is "a possibility", the extended his contract the very same day I made my first bid. Asshole. And to make things better, his agent demanded a 12,5 million agent fee for his own greedy ass. Resulted me in doubling the salary he asked for at first because 6,5 was my agent fee limit (400k to 800k).

And yes, buying him means that Martinez will be dropped to centerback. I'm insane like that.

So, who's got FM14 already? I am very excited to start playing it. :D

Also: How many hours have you clocked into FM13? I am close to 600.
