Just saw this (in English) - couldn't find it in english to post it here.
it is called : Target Earth - attack from space
U l-Kotra qamet f’daqqa – u għajtet: “Jien Maltija!
Miskin min ikasbarni, - miskin min jidħak bija!”
U l-Kotra għanniet f’daqqa – u semmgħet ma’ l-irjieħ
L-Innu ta’ Malta tagħna, – u l-leħen kien rebbieħ,

very very interesting...
While watching it I immediately thought that this is a must for football / sport coaches... and actually at the end one of the experts said it.
This doc makes a lot of sense...
I learned that Germany lost the war because of Hitler... had he was not so stubborn or lost in his lust to eliminate the Jews he would have won or at least had he given more attention to his advisers such as that a retreat is not a crime he could have won it.
And what about that dog of Churchill...? he knew what was going to happen to Coventry at let it happen in order to make the Nazi aware that he can read their codes... what a war criminal!

Nah... He lost the war in Dec 1941 at the latest, namely December 15th... You cannot win a war against Russia AND the US... (and both countries, especially Russia, are WAYYYYYY too big to be conquered...)
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

There are different theories, but some historians suggest that the USSR were about to invade Germany. Knowing that, Hitler tried to attack first, and as they say, if fight is inevitable, throw the first punch.

that as well... but again he was so stubborn... As much as good as he was as a preacher and motivator he was an awful general...
He never accepted retreats...

I am not sure on this ... did the japs attack Russia? Had they done so from the east they could have crushed russia , with a simultaneously German invasion from the west ...
The Japs did the biggest mistakes... they awoke a sleeping giant by attacking the US

Some say that giant wanted to be woken and get involved. They say that Japs were provoked beforehand... there are some "funny" sides of that story from that event as well...

The West never really accepted Japan as a colonial power. The amercians and the europeans had the right to colonize China and Asia, but not Japan. Moreover, the US unilaterally imposed an embargo against the japanese before the Pearl Harbor attack.

I believe that the US knew what was coming and where it was coming... some say that they flew with their planes over Japanese islands and Japs answered back. That gave them a nice excuse to try the newest toy in town... A very non-American and anti-american thesis...

And there I was thinking the first effective time the Americans used an embargo as a pre-war political course of action was just before the bay of pigs invasion on Cuba; former Ford CEO McNamara at the DOF helm on that one. And wasn't actually the British doing the imperial gig on Asia? Did the US really had a fleet before late WWII?

- The Perry expedition to Japan in 1853
- The american annexiation of Hawai in 1893
- The Philippine-American War in 1899

Etc.

The US have a long history of imperialism in the Asia-Pacific region.
