That can be also used for Scandinavian people and Iberian peninsula.

Not so much for the Scandinavians I think. I've heard they're very similar and while they do compete among themselves on who is "the best", they feel kind of united. Dunno how true this is though.

What I meant: one state, one people, one nation, one language, one flag, one anthem, one history, etc.

This is a fact: Scandinavians are usually extremely trustworthy. They're very punctual, so if they tell you they're going to meet you somewhere at a certain time, they sure as hell will be there.
If a Scandinavian calls you their friend, they mean it 100%.
I've noticed that americans are very quick to call someone they just met their "friend" when really they're just an acquaintance. The cultural shyness really loosens up with a little social lubricant. And not only the "social" one LOL.

I have to say during the two weeks I spent in Sweden last year I met some really friendly people. The stereotype really didn't seem true to me.

I did visit in September though and it was very sunny; they joked that I brought the sun from Malta with me. Maybe it's different during the long winter months.

I'm a Balkanist situated in Scandinavia and there are some parts where it can remind one of the Balkans. The southern part of Sweden (Skåne) belonged to Denmark years ago, so all the ethnic swedes in Skåne really despise the danes, and vice versa.

Also in Finland and Norway they have to attend Swedish classes in school, whilst in Sweden we don't have to learn any of the other Scandinavian languages. This can really make a Swede hated when visiting the other Scandinavian countries, receiving death threats etc..

Although the people in Scandinavia do not even come close to the patriotism the people in the Balkans have, there are still some "disputes".

Not near close the last few seconds.

We're talking about Slovenija and Slovensko(eng. Slovakia). "slovensko" in Slovenian and Croatian is an adjective, for example:

slovensko pivo(Slovenian beer),
slovensko polje(Slovenian field)

while "Slovensko" in Slovakian means the name of the state.

I'm not sure if slovensko is also an adjective in Slovakian, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is just as same as "Hrvatska" and "hrvatska"(hrvatsko/hrvatski) where both mean the name of the state and the adjective while capital letter distinguishes the noun "Hrvatska" from the adjective "hrvatska". :)

Now their languages... Even worse where a non-Slavic people would barely know the difference:

slovenščina(Slovenian)
and
slovenčina(Slovak). :D

That letter "š" is the crucial that makes the difference. :)

I just found out some 3-4 years ago that Slovakia is not Slovačko or Slovačka(as we call Slovakia in Croatian language) like Češka(in Czech is "Češko"), but Slovensko and their language "slovenčina" which almost the same as "slovenščina". :D

From all East Slavic people, at least we Croats can communicate and understand fairly good Slovaks and their language, just as they can understand us, that also means that Slovenians, Serbs, Bosniaks and Montenegrin can also understand them and maybe Bulgarians and Macedonians.

I don't need too much Croatian subtitles to understand Slovakian documentaries in Croatian TV.

They are pests. The amount of damage they caused to that club and national team with their vandalism is immeasurable.
