I'd love to see promotion/relegation in the US, but it's so unfamiliar to US sports, I don't think it will happen. Also the MLS owners would never go for it...

I would love to see it too, but not enough teams, not enough interest and above all, not enough money.

Two US TV journalists have been shot dead during a live report in Virginia

The live footage apparently captured the gunman

Queue up Americans saying that more guns would have prevented this...

I hate what this country has become... guns are a religion here, and no matter how many people die, nothing will change. I thought the government would have taken action after Sandy Hook (all of those children killed in a school), but the gun lobbyists have only become stronger...very sad state of affairs

I just doubt there's very much gun control could do. How did a guy with an AK-47 get on a train in France, for example. Not gonna argue that anybody in that situation having a gun would have prevented it. Or that the gun-culture is not out of control. But when a gun instructor is killed accidentally by a child with an Uzi, how is the common sense of ALL the adults there not already sufficient enough to see how that is a dumb situation. Even the military has way tighter rules governing access to firearms than these gun-crazy civilians, but we saw in Chattanooga how that is not a perfect scenario, and that two guys breaking the rules made the situation way better.

Piling more laws and already-suspect police on the situation, I don't know if I trust that to be a better solution.

Gays can pull a trigger just as easily. It only takes a few pounds of force.

read between the lines...

Updated. He killed them; apart for the fact that he was fired by the CO (as the deceased fired him!) because they were racists (according to him) and as a payback for Charleston shooting.

Racism vs white ppl exist as well just is not given media attention... just saying.

theres a lot gun control could do...nearly everyone has a gun available, i wouldnt want to live in a place, where i have an argument with someone and he could go home, gets his gun and shoots me. or i am drunk, walk on his property (stand your ground)...and BANG!
